Webber Academy Athletic Park Hosts U19 Women’s Baseball Championships

The Webber Academy Athletic Park was proud to host the inaugural 19U Women’s National Baseball Championship from July 31 to August 3, 2025. This landmark event brought together top young female athletes from across Canada to compete at the highest level.

In a dominant performance, Team Québec went undefeated throughout the tournament, culminating in a decisive 14–2 victory over Ontario in the gold medal game. Their offensive prowess was on full display, scoring early and often to secure the championship title (Baseball Canada, 2025).

The event featured eight teams competing at Webber Academy Athletic Park's AGAT and EverGroup Fields, showcasing exceptional talent and sportsmanship. The championship not only highlighted the growth of women's baseball in Canada but also underscored the importance of providing young athletes with opportunities to compete at the national level.
