4 Wildcats commit to Division 1 NCAA Schools

4 more Wildcats from the 2024 College Prep team have signed on with NCAA D1 Universities to continue their playing careers in 2025/2026.

  • RHP Sawyer Jensen: Dayton University (Atlantic 10 Conference)

  • C Matt MacDonald: Wichita State University (American Athletic Conference)

  • SS Lucas Laukannen: University of South Carolina Upstate (Big South Conference)

  • OF/RHP Simon Baker: Missouri State University (Conference USA)

Highlighting one of the strongest teams in our program’s young history, the 2024 Prep Team had a record of 40-21-2 and were Tournament Champions in Okotoks and Vauxhall during that season. Macdonald (Pima CC) and Laukannen (Cloud CC) spent two years at their respective Junior Colleges, while Baker (Cloud CC) and Jensen (Trinidad State CC) both spent just a single year getting their reps in at their previous programs.
