Simon Baker Signs with Gonzaga University

Congratulations to Simon Baker on his commitment to Gonzaga University where he will continue his academic and athletic careers! Gonzaga University is an NCAA Division 1 program playing in the West Coast Conference. As a program, they have had 14 players move on to professional baseball! The Bulldogs have appeared in the NCAA national tournament 12 times with back-to-back appearances in 2021 and 2022. Simon’s commitment is a first for Wildcats Baseball, Simon will be the first Wildcat to move on to a Division 1 school!

Simon has been with the Wildcats since the program's inception and has had a phenomenal high-school baseball career as a Wildcat and as a member of the Canadian Junior National Team. Baker was also named the 2023 Jays Futures Showcase MVP in Toronto this Fall!

We couldn’t be more proud of the work Simon has done and are excited to watch him excel at Gonzaga and beyond!
