Webber Wildcats to Host Inaugural Summer Tournament

The Wildcats are excited to announce they will be hosting their inaugural Stampede Showdown this July from the 13th - 16th. Excited to host 10 teams at the Webber Academy Athletic Park this summer and share their immaculate home fields the Wildcats are making a push to host their elite tournament annually and cement themselves in the Alberta Baseball landscape. 

Scheduled for the last weekend of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth the Wildcats hope to share a taste of Calgary summers with incoming teams both on and off the field. Some special events being hosted at the Stampede Showdown include a cow town classic pancake breakfast, unique player awards and an exclusive PBR ID camp on July 12th prior to the tournament. 

The PBR Showcase event is geared toward all players in 2023, 2024, 2025 2026, 2027 and 2028 Graduating Classes. For the showcase day, PBR will be bringing in Trackman for all registrants to test out. Throughout the rest of the tournament, PBR will be at every game posting player highlights, tracking individual success and identifying selections for the Future Games in Georgia, Best of the West in BC, West Coast Games in Vegas, the Northeast Senior Games in New York, the New York State Games and more. After the PBR event registrants will receive access to their data from the following partners: Trackman and Swift as well as Edited Video of Performance, Player Profile, Verified Statistics, and Post-Event Content.
