Keith Jorgenson Tournament
Wildcats Baseball's first tournament happened to fall on the programs first weekend together. Participating in the Keith Jorgenson tournament held annually by Baseball Alberta, both the Wildcats Prep team and Jr. Prep team finished the tournament 5 - 1. The prep team won their pool while the Jr. Prep team came in a close second with their only loss coming from the victors of their pool. After this impressive weekend, expectations were high and fall training commenced in preparation for the Best of the West Tournament in Kamloops at the end of the fall season.

Sylvan Lake
Late in September and early October the Wildcats spent two weekends at the Gull's stadium in Sylvan Lake playing SJHS and the University of Dinos. The Wildcats took this opportunity to play on the newly built Gulls stadium and challenge some tougher opponents. The games at Sylvan Lake were full of promising individual performances from Dylan Chopp (4/6, 2 triples, 6 RBI, 1BB), Griffin Fisher (1.0 IP, 2k's, 1 hit, 0 ER), Patrick Macinnis (1 ER, 2.0 IP), Ethan Tunnell (3B, 1 RBI), Jake Spagrud (0 ER, 2 IP), Simon Baker (2B, 3 RBI, 1 BB). Jackson Auriemma and Nicholas Homeniuk both tripled. With lots of positives to build on the Wildcats looked forward to the Best of the West tournament in Kamloops.

Best of the West
For the final tournament of Fall Ball, the Wildcats headed to Kamloops to participate in the Best of the West Tournament. Both teams were off to slow starts dropping their first two games of the tournament. Ethan Tunnell, did however hit a towering homerun in game one. The Jr. Prep team dropped their next two games while the Prep team won their last two. Heading into the winter season this weekend highlighted aspects of training our players needed to focus on and fuelled the fire that will ignite the Wildcats next season!
